Job description

Aberdeen Kai-fong Welfare Association (AKA) is a non-profit organisation that actively provides multi-faceted integrated services and serving people of different ages with the clear vision of striving for excellence and developing a sustainable society. AKA has formulated a 10-year development blueprint in 2020 for the sustainable development of public value. Social Service, Education Service and Health Service are the three pillars of services contributing to the public value.

Responsibility:

  • Assist in the implementation of agency events, fund raising programmes, visits and network building initiatives
  • Manage events from planning to execution, including campaign launches, draft appeals speeches, press releases, features and correspondences
  • Assist in sourcing materials, vendors, promoters for events
  • Coordinating with different units and external parties to facilitate the smooth running of events
  • Liaise with stakeholders, donors and corporations to explore opportunities in cooperation and sponsorship
  • Prepare proposals, tenders and communication materials

Requirement:

  • Degree holder in Business Administration/Marketing/Communications or related disciplines
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience
  • Proficiency in PC applications (e.g. MS Word, MS Excel and MS Powerpoint) and Chinese & English Word Processing
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent in spoken and written English and Chinese
