ABOUT CTC
For over 100 years, CTC (Head Office in Lyon, France – 330 employees – 35 M$ turnover – 18 locations in the world) has been assisting manufacturers, distributors and brands from the footwear, leather, leather goods, apparel and fashion industries thanks to its unique expertise and research campus based in Lyon France and its international network of 18 laboratories and inspections agencies.

With a wide range of services including quality assurance and CSR programs, audits, inspections, testing, certification and accreditation, consultancy and training, CTC covers the global needs of its clients from the product development phase to manufacturing, sourcing and getting product to market. Our clients come from the fashion, luxury, sport, leisure and Personal Protective Equipment markets.

Responsibilities:

• Communicate with management for job organization, client requests and test deadline targets

• Manage the lab’s technical support team (2 pers.) to assist and provide technical feedback to customers and operational support to other CTC Dept.

• Develop the chemical labs’ capacity in Asia by implementing test method development according to CTC Groupe’s strategy, with the support of either:

• CTC France

• Or directly from China with the support of local teams

• Supervise chemical and physical method correlation between labs in France and Asia and Supervise project lab in Asia

• Handle partner labs and subcontractors for chemical tests

• Review offers and participate in preparation of tenders, contracts for international and local clients

• Organize chemical seminars/webinars ad hoc for our clients

Skills and requirements:

• Proficient in English & French is mandatory (writing and oral)
• Master degree, major in analytical chemistry or relevant specialty
• Relevant and similar work experience in analytical laboratory field will be an advantage
• Have good presentation skill and knowledge on either footwear/textile/leather technologies
• Honest person with good integrity nature, mature, endurable, responsible, & independent at work
• Have a strong sense of customer service, good communication skills and can work under high pressure
• Strong team work spirit

Reporting to:

• Hierarchically: to CTC Dongguan General Manager
• Functionally: to CTC Greater China and Vietnam Executive Director
