The Invest Prod Risk Intmd Analyst is a developing professional role. Deals with most problems independently and has some latitude to solve complex problems. Integrates in-depth specialty area knowledge with a solid understanding of industry standards and practices. Good understanding of how the team and area integrate with others in accomplishing the objectives of the subfunction/ job family. Applies analytical thinking and knowledge of data analysis tools and methodologies. Requires attention to detail when making judgments and recommendations based on the analysis of factual information. Typically deals with variable issues with potentially broader business impact. Applies professional judgment when interpreting data and results. Breaks down information in a systematic and communicable manner. Developed communication and diplomacy skills are required in order to exchange potentially complex/sensitive information. Moderate but direct impact through close contact with the businesses' core activities. Quality and timeliness of service provided will affect the effectiveness of own team and other closely related teams.

Responsibilities:

• Serves as a key risk management an analyst for Investment Products Risk within Global Risk Management responsible for managing the risks associated with the manufacture, sale, and distribution of investment products and services to individual investors.

• Conduct the regulatory reporting on a frequently basis (monthly and quarterly) and to ensure the accuracy and timeliness before submission

• Generate different local and global reports (collateral risks, cross border exposures, third party exposures, etc) to fulfill policy requirements

• Prepare Portfolio review reports (Periodic and Ad hoc) for senior management/committee

• Good understanding on system language such as SAS for data mining, coding modification, output reconciliation, result analysis

• Participate in system enhancement projects to ensure all operation processes and risks are raised during the regular meeting and documented all the required changes clearly

• Provide ad-hoc analysis according to senior management request due to marco-economic or market changes

• Contributes to the evaluation of investment products and services, understanding the investment thesis of a product and the key drivers and risks that may affect its performance, in order to arrive at a conclusion regarding its overall riskiness that will be used to facilitate judgments regarding product suitability across Citi businesses

• Assists in technology development for automation and new functionality .

• Qualifications:

• 2-5 years relevant experience with expertise in SAS

• Finance-related higher education

• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail • • Ability to develop relationships cross-functionally • Demonstrated writing ability to clearly and succinctly convey his/her analysis and views to an audience of senior managers • • Ability to drive tasks through to completion, with periodic guidance • • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint

Education: - Bachelor's/University degree or equivalent experience
