Cloud Engineer (Public & Private) - Global Firm

Global financial firm going through an expansion is looking for an experienced Cloud Engineer to join their IT Infrastructure team.
Responsibility

  • Design and implement both public and private cloud solutions and provide technical support to users.
  • Regularly review existing systems and make recommendations for improvements.
  • Identify, analyze, and resolve infrastructure vulnerabilities and application deployment issues.
  • Ensure efficient functioning of infrastructure platform in accordance with company security policies and best practices in cloud security.
  • Interact with dev team, provide support, and make recommendations based on users' needs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or above in computer science or related majors.
  • 5+ years overall experience in Cloud, DevOps, SRE, SysAdmin role.
  • Familiar with one of the programming languages in Python/Java/Shell/Golang etc.
  • Working experience in private clouds platforms (Vmware/OpenStack/SmartX).
  • Working experience in Kubernetes administration.
  • Working experience with infrastructure such as code tools (Ansible or Terraform).
  • Good written and verbal skills in both Mandarin and English.
  • Quick learner and interest in new technology.

Nice-To-Have

  • Good knowledge in storage/network/security.
  • Knowledge in middleware, microservice, database.
  • Experience in monitoring tools (Zabbix, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Splunk).
