Job description

Responsibilities:

  • Be a team member of Facility Management
  • Coordinate with Facility Management Department and other stakeholders to drive responsible operations such carbon reduction, sustainable procurement, etc.
  • Lead / coordinate Group-wide environmental initiatives with Group subsidiaries and overseas operations
  • Align with the Group’s sustainability vision and mission to meet environmental goals and performance targets
  • Support the development and implementation of the Bank’s sustainability programmes, strategies, goals, and initiatives
  • Work with the Sustainability Department to establish and develop the Group’s sustainability building policy and guidelines
  • Oversee the development of the Group’s deployment plans at building-level
  • Regularly monitor and report ESG data at building level including energy consumption, water usage, waste production, recycling rate, and work with relevant teams to identify improvement opportunities and set targets
  • Manage data collection at building level for ESG analysis, reports, and other disclosure exercises
  • Develop and monitor specific sustainability action plans

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Management, Sustainability or related discipline with at least 5 years’ working experience in a corporate environment
  • Experience in real estate / property developer / property management preferred
  • Knowledge and experience in carbon accounting will be an advantage
  • BEAM Professional or other green building professional qualification a plus
  • Familiarity with environmental data platforms
  • Creative thinker, ability to think out of box to solve problems
  • Fluency in Cantonese and Putonghua and proficiency in written and spoken English
  • Understanding of business sustainability best practices
