We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a Manager, Workplace Business Strategy.

Principal Responsibilities- The role holder will enable and support organizational transformation and change through the development and delivery of workplace strategies for HASE

  • The role holder is required to have an understanding of the latest best practices and market trend in the workplace strategies and lead to drive for an optimum solution for HASE.
  • Knowledge of agile/flexible/activity based working concept design, space budgeting, test-fit creation/oversight, workplace concept/guideline development, and the use of technology as an enabler.
  • The role holder will coordinate communications and engagement between Corporate Services, businesses and functions, to ensure workplace projects and initiatives deliver targeted business outcomes
  • Excellent analytic skills in both quantitative and qualitative data, methodical approach, with attention to detail.
  • Collaborative working with key stakeholders to deliver outputs and outcomes
  • Excellent communication skills including the ability to talk to suppliers, stakeholders, colleagues.
  • Self-starter with ability to define requirements and implement commensurate actions
  • Build strong relationships across stakeholders, peers and partners, creating open and transparent relationships based on trust
  • Be able to work to tight timescales and to agreed targets
  • The role holder is expected to work actively with HR, IT and businesses to develop strategies that align with group and functional objectives
  • The role holder will provide effective, compliant and functional leadership across the full breadth of workplace services for the portfolio
  • The role holder will gather, analyse and refine a broad range of data, both existing and new, which will inform workplace strategies
  • The role holder will develop the scope of work and oversee the appointment of Workplace Delivery Consultant (RWDC) partners required to support workplace projects

Requirements
Knowledge / Qualifications- Professional qualification in Architectural or Interior design, Project Management, Facilities Management, Portfolio and Estates Management, discipline or a relevant equivalent

  • Analytical background and proven ability in data analysis, process implementation, including the ability to present data within the context of business activities
  • Have an understanding of financial planning, including being able to contextualize financial data into business activities and conclusions
  • Comprehensive knowledge of a broad range of SME activities and issues faced by large corporates
  • Sound understanding of how banks operate and the key challenges faced in the operative environment
  • Expertise and knowledge in relation to Supplier Management and SME within a real estate context

Experience- Experience in coordinating, supporting or delivering workplace or related interior construction projects

  • Significant experience in managing Corporate Services SME activities at country and regional levels
  • Demonstrated ability to successfully manage multiple projects of timely and quality results in different geographies
  • Demonstrated results in delivering successful risk management and control processes
  • Good working knowledge of Real Estate technology platforms for planning, analysis and decision making
  • Experience in transformation and deployment of outsourcing and technology
  • Demonstrated results in managing Suppliers and Supplier/stakeholder issues
  • Proven ability to prioritize competing demands and handle ambiguity

Skills- Excellent interpersonal, communication and people management skills

  • Strong organisational, planning and project management skills
  • Demonstrated commerciality on supplier management and SME areas balancing costs, customer demands, meeting high standards and CS's requirements, and supplier relationship management
  • Ability to engage and influence senior executives of the Bank at global, regional and country level
  • Role model and advocate for HASE acting at all times in a way that complies with the Banks code of conduct, ethics and stance on bribery
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills with the ability to develop conclusions and recommendations for effective solutions
  • Strong presentation skills to clearly communicate ideas and concepts to all levels of the organisation
  • Excellent interpersonal and communications skills at all levels of the organisation
  • Proficiency in architectural and engineering drawings, concepts & design
  • Able to build strong relationships with internal and external partners to deliver effective services
  • Strong attention to detail and quality
  • Effective time manager and able to meet deadlines in a fast paced environment
  • Ability to grasp, understand and independently handle new projects and ideas
  • Ability to speak to the business with a level of experience or understanding on business operations and management challenges is desirable
