Our client is a Chinese financial institution, currently looking for a HR Manager with expertise around HR Policy and HR Compliance / Risk Management. This pivotal role is based in Hong Kong, with a focus on ensuring seamless HR policy alignment between the business China headquarters and regional subsidiaries.

About The Client Our client is a Chinese financial institution, currently looking for a HR Manager with expertise around HR Policy and HR Compliance / Risk Management. This pivotal role is based in Hong Kong, with a focus on ensuring seamless HR policy alignment between the business China headquarters and regional subsidiaries.About The Role* Translate strategic HR directives from the China head office and cascade policies, protocols, and guidelines to the subsidiaries, ensuring consistency and compliance across the organisation.* Develop comprehensive HR policy frameworks, including expense management policies, to facilitate collaboration and unity between various entities.* Monitor HR compliance and work closely with the internal audit team to investigate any issues, provide solutions, and make recommendations for improvement.* Stay up-to-date with evolving labor regulations, both in Hong Kong and China, and proactively update policies to maintain full compliance.* Liaise with HR generalists and business partners across the organisation to gather feedback and continuously enhance the HR policy landscape.Requirements* 8+ years of experience in HR policy development, compliance, or a related HR generalist role* Familiarity with HR policies and procedures in both the Hong Kong and China markets* Strong project management and analytical skills to translate strategic vision into actionable policies* Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities to drive policy adoption* Experience working within a state-owned enterprise or similar corporate structure is preferred but not essential* Fluency in English and Mandarin Chinese is required
