Job description

The Hong Kong Monetary Authority (HKMA) is charged with the responsibility for maintaining the stability and integrity of the monetary and financial systems of Hong Kong. There is now an excellent opportunity for eligible candidates to apply for the following positions in the Hong Kong FMI Services Limited (HKFMI), a wholly owned subsidiary of the HKMA:

Key Responsibilities

• Understand business needs, prioritise requirements and liaise with technical staff and vendors to achieve timely and cost-effective solutions
• Provide viable solutions and innovative ideas to improve user experience and delivers business initiatives
• Keep abreast of new technology developments and evaluate the suitability for new initiatives
• Manage the daily operations, development, implementation, and project management of IT systems
• Liaise with system developers, vendors and IT services providers in IT systems development, implementation, maintenance, support and acquisition of computer hardware, software and related services
• Liaise with security, audit and operations units to ensure proper measures are in place

Requirements

• University degree, preferably in computer science, business information systems, information technology or related fields
• At least 3 years of relevant IT experience in banking and finance sector
• Basic knowledge of debt securities markets, and related clearing and settlement system
• Proven experience on designing, building, deploying medium to large scale platform, banking or ecommerce solutions using modern technologies
• Good analytical, interpersonal, communication and writing skills
• Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese
