Accounting Policy Manager, Local Bank | HK Talent Engage

Job description

Our client is a fast-growing local bank, looking for an Accounting Policy Manager responsible for providing advice on accounting standards/ certain treatments on new products. Big Four candidates with banking focus and CPA qualification will be considered.

Job Responsibilities:

• Advise accounting standards and other rules/regulations which have impact on financial reporting/disclosure
• Work with different stakeholders including internal and external auditors in respect of system audit and statutory audit
• Address accounting issues with internal departments
• Conduct post-launch review of accounting entries for new products
• Perform tasks for compliance with accounting standards

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration or Finance
• Qualified CPA with at least 7 years of experience in (retail/corporate) banking industry
• Excellent spoken English AND Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese)
• Self-motivated, proactive attitude
• Proficiency in MS office, Word and PowerPoint
