Job Purpose:

The core purpose of this role is to support the Resource Development Manager to plan and execute marketing and fundraising campaigns or donation scheme. Moreover, s/he will assist the Manager in fundraising campaign strategy development to achieve the team’s one-off fundraising goal.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Manager to create new ideas, plan and implement the one-off fundraising campaigns (including Pass-It-On Campaign, Emergency Partnership, Climate Change initiatives, Beneficiary Projects, etc.) in order to achieve the team’s one-off fundraising goal from corporate and individual donors.
  • Assist direct mail and email programs, processes and materials to insure effective and on-time results.
  • Assist the manager to maintain strong corporate relations by effective communications via the individual conversation and corporate communication materials.
  • Explore to expand individual donor database.
  • Work closely with internal and external parties including but not limited to the HKRC services/management departments, graphic designers, advertising/ PR/ digital marketing agencies, contractors, printing houses and media, etc. to ensure the smooth implementation of the projects.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of fundraising campaigns with report analysis and to explore/ propose improvement plans for continuity and new fundraising tools.
  • Identify and coordinate with potential partners to enhance the effectiveness of the fundraising campaigns.
  • Assist to monitor the financial status of the research programs and fundraising campaigns.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor degree in related discipline, preferable in marketing, business or communications.
  • Minimum 2-4 years relevant working experience, preferable in marketing or fundraising.
  • Good knowledge and practical skills in marketing, developing corporate and individual one-off fundraising campaigns, strong digital marketing experience is preferred.
  • Experience in account servicing, promotional materials/ publication copywriting and production, online and offline promotions, acquisition & conversion programs
  • Sensitive to global and market trends and horizon scanning
  • Excellent command of English and Chinese, both written and oral (including Putonghua).
  • Proficient in PC skills, including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Chinese word processing.
  • Creative and good team player with excellent interpersonal communication skills.
  • Self-motivated with strong sense of responsibility, detail-minded and able to work under pressure with good multitasking skills
