Job description:
A senior digital electronic engineer to lead digital circuit design, contribute to FPGA-based control logic, and oversee the full project lifecycle. Bridge hardware and firmware, ensuring circuits and FPGAs work in harmony for industrial application.
Responsibilities:
- Design high-speed communication circuits (EtherCAT, CAN FD, RS-485, PCIe) with EMI/EMC compliance.
- Develop VHDL/Verilog modules for sub-systems and protocol stacks.
- Verify FPGA interactions using simulation tools.
- Collaborate with FPGA teams to partition logic between hardware and firmware
- Oversee the full product lifecycle:
- Concept: Define requirements with clients and cross-functional teams (mechanical, software, control).
- Design: Lead schematic/PCB reviews and FPGA architecture planning.
- Prototyping: Coordinate lab validation (signal integrity, thermal stress, EMI testing).
- Production: Manage production material handoffs and support manufacturing ramp-up.
Requirements:
- Bachelor or higher degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or related field.
- 5+ years of combined experience in:
- Digital circuit design (PCB layout, signal/power integrity).
- FPGA development (RTL coding, verification, timing closure).
- Project management
- Proficiency with:
- EDA Tools: Pads for PCB design; Vivado/Quartus for FPGA workflows.
- Simulation: SPICE, HyperLynx, ModelSim.
- Strong communication skills for stakeholder updates and technical documentation.
