We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as Client Coverage Manager in Greater China Team.
Principal responsibilities
Develop and maintain strong relationships with institutional clients in Greater China, including investment banks, asset management companies and information vendors, understanding their demands to develop index-linked investment products and to subscribe data & analytics services
Deliver sales targets, regularly tracking performance and adjusting strategies as needed
Keep abreast of market developments and trends across different markets/sectors, identifying opportunities and to prioritizing sales leads accordingly
Dig deep into client relations to identify new opportunities for upselling or cross-selling index products/services
Collaborate with Product to prepare and present index proposals, leading negotiations to secure and conclude the deals with agreement signed
Work closely with Marketing, Product, Client Services to ensure alignment and effective delivery of solutions to institutional clients
Requirements
Proven experience in banking and financial industry, with a focus on institutional accounts or B2B sales
Proven track-record in achieving and exceeding business targets, demonstrating effectiveness in driving revenue growth
Strong interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships with clients and internal teams.
Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese & Putonghua)
Strong communication, negotiation, presentation skills with experience in working with executive level
Strong sense of ownership and servicing mindset to ensure efficient and effective customer service processes
Professional qualifications such as Enhanced Competency Framework (ECF) and/or Certified Banker (CB) under Hong Kong Institute of Bankers (HKIB) would be an advantage
