Retail Distribution

Hang Seng's Retail Distribution focuses on personal wealth management and financial services. Our one-stop wealth management initiatives are designed for both our affluent and mass integrated account customers. With more than 290 branches and automated banking centres, including around 60 Prestige Banking Centres for our high-end personal customers, we serve over half of the adult population in Hong Kong while offering an extensive range of products to our valued customers.

We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our branch network as Head of Investment Sales (Area)

Principal responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise a team of Investment product specialists to implement holistic sales initiatives for investment products and manage the team members and the Area to achieve investment AOP targets
  • Formulate and execute sales strategies to drive the investment sales performance, monitor the qualities of sales conducted by team members and branch sales staff
  • Monitor and review current sales process in order to improve channel efficiency and customer experience
  • Maintain high team morale, attract, motivate and develop talent and leverage teams effectively across the company
  • Ensure that all control measures relevant to the job are undertaken to minimize risk exposure of the Bank
  • Adhere to all relevant processes and procedures of the Group compliance policy and internal controls

Requirements

  • University degree in Business Administration or other relevant qualifications such as CFA, CFP or CFMP
  • Minimum 8 to 10 years’ relevant experience in retail banking, with strong knowledge of investment products
  • Passes in the Hong Kong Securities Institute Licensing Examination and Insurance Intermediaries Qualifying Examination
  • Strong business awareness, excellent relationship building and stakeholder management skills
  • Strong leadership, good presentation, interpersonal, negotiation, communication and analytical skills
  • Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese
  • High level of customer centric mindset and ability to manage complex interactions effectively
  • Shown strong situation awareness, strong desire to learn and able to work in Agile environment
  • Able to inspire others to achieve their goals/ambitions in a variety of situations
