Retail Distribution – Wealth Sales Distribution

Hang Seng's Retail Distribution focuses on personal wealth management and financial services. Our one-stop wealth management initiatives are designed for both our affluent and mass integrated account customers. With around 260 branches and automated banking centres, including around 50 Prestige Banking Centres for our high-end personal customers, we serve over half of the adult population in Hong Kong while offering an extensive range of products to our valued customers.

We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our Wealth Sales Distribution as Prestige Investment Sales Manager.

Principal responsibilities

  • Lead, execute and proactively implement advanced coaching techniques to motivate and encourage learning and re-enforce application within the work place
  • Provide guidance to insurance specialist in the branches, and also responsible for formulating and implementing tactics/strategies
  • Monitor and review current sales process in order to improve channel efficiency and customer experience
  • Enhance capabilities and professionalism of the sales force to improve overall customer satisfaction
  • Manage the performance and ensure the professionalism and sales quality of team members
  • Ensure that all control measures relevant to the job are undertaken to minimize risk exposure of the Bank
  • Adhere to all relevant processes and procedures of the Group compliance policy and internal controls

Requirements

  • University degree in Business Administration or other related disciplines, with professional qualifications such as CFA, CFP or CFMP an advantage
  • Professional qualifications such as Enhanced Competency Framework (ECF) and/or Certified Banker (CB) under Hong Kong Institute of Bankers (HKIB) would be an advantage.
  • Pass the Hong Kong Securities Institute Licensing Examination and IIQE and fulfill the competency requirements to carry out regulated activities as defined under the Securities and Futures Ordinance
  • Proven experience in retail banking, with strong knowledge of investment products
  • Excellent interpersonal and communications skills
  • Sound investment consultation and presentation skills
  • Proficiency in both English and Chinese
  • Customer centric mindset and able to manage complex interaction effectively
  • Shown strong situation awareness, strong desire to learn and able to work in Agile environment
  • High level of customer centricity mindset with dedication to deliver exceptional quality services for customers
