Our client is a globally listed Financial Institution and are looking for a driven and energetic professional to head the MI function in APAC. The role is based in Hong Kong and aims to support the CEO on key business finance aspects.
Some of the key responsibilities include:
Act as a bridge between the Financial Reporting team and the Business to provide the senior stakeholders with the relevant financial analysis related to a broad range of business matters (i.e. resource allocation, business performance, corporate development).
Run the preparation of regular and ad-hoc management reports.
Set and track the financial KPIs to monitor the financial health of the business and optimize the decision-making process.
Be an advisor to the Business’s decision makers and C-level stakeholders in key strategic business initiatives and ongoing projects.
Alongside with the multiple ongoing projects, manage the team and be actively involved in communication with other departments (A&F, Legal, Operations).
To be eligible for this position, you will require:
A degree in Finance/Accounting and 10+ years of working experience in FP&A / MI / MR or Product Control roles from an Investment Bank.
Strong analytical skills and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to face key stakeholders in the business, advise and present to them confidently.
Work well under deadlines and manage pressure.
Excellent communication skills, solution-oriented mentality, driven mindset.
