Job Description
Partnering with a long-term client, we are recruiting for Director - Financial Risk Management position. This company has developed a strong brand in the local insurance market and dominated market share in recent years. Due to its high standard on the overall risk culture, a Financial Risk Director position has become available for the most competent candidates with ALM and RPC experience within the insurance industry.
As part of the leadership team, this incumbent is expected to:
- Oversee the full risk function and leading a strong team of risk professionals.
- Reviewing and updating on Financial Risk Management framework
- Manages ALM and RBC risk factors according to company standards.
- Review and validates new product proposals.
- Coordinates Enterprise Risk Management in relation to regulatory standards.
- Work with other cross-functional business to address regulatory requests and audits.
Successful candidates should possess:
- Bachelor's degree holder from world's renowned universities.
- Minimum of 15 years' experience in Risk Management within Life Insurance.
- Solid experience and knowledge in ERM and FRM
- Exceptional leadership quality with ability to effectively articulate thinkings
- Excellent stakeholder management and skills and competencies
- Strong business acumen and ability to tackle business challenges.
- Fluent in written and spoken English, Mandarin and Cantonese.
