ETL Engineer - Leading Financial Institution

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and implement ETL processes to integrate data from multiple sources into the data warehouse.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements, identify potential data sources, and establish data mappings.
• Evaluate and optimize ETL processes to ensure efficient data extraction, transformation, and loading operations.
• Monitor and troubleshoot data quality issues, resolve data anomalies, and perform data validation to maintain the accuracy and consistency of data.
• Create and maintain documentation for ETL workflows, data mappings, and data models to support ongoing data governance efforts.
• Work closely with data analysts and business stakeholders to define data requirements, perform data analysis, and support data-driven decision-making.
• Implement best practices in data extraction, transformation, and loading to enhance system performance, scalability, and reliability.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Experience with IBM DataStage.
• Proficiency in SQL queries, data modeling, and database design principles.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, analytical thinking, and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team environment.
• Strong communication skills to interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders effectively.
