Systems Consultant (Virtualization Administrator)

Main Responsibilities

• Monitor and optimize VMware and Cloud resource's utilization, performance, as well as monitor the related cost

  • Collaborate with software development teams to ensure seamless integration of applications with cloud infrastructure
  • Define and maintain the standard operation workflow on support area
  • Co-ordinate with various stakeholders (including user, external parties, technical teams) to perform testing, system change promotion as well as production rollout
  • Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure-related issues, working closely with the support and development teams to provide timely solutions and minimize downtime.
  • Conduct regular system assessments and capacity planning to proactively address future infrastructure needs and support the organization's growth
  • Strictly follow audit and regulation requests; provide and review the evidences promptly as required
  • Provide on-call standby support as when required during non-office hours

  Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related discipline

  • Minimum 5 years relevant experience in systems design, implementation and troubleshooting
  • Hands-on experience in VMware and Cloud platform administration
  • Possession of relevant certification (Linux / Windows) would be an advantage
  • Proactive with team spirit, strong organization skill and able to work independently
  • Able to work under pressure and willing to work overtime
  • Enjoy teamwork and sharing of experience with knowledge and able to work independently etc.
  • High affinity for the topic of cyber security
  • Self-motivated and be proactive to learn new skills and knowledge regularly
  • Good command of English, Cantonese and Mandarin
