VP/ Director of Compliance, Global Investment Manager

Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Provide guidance and support on compliance matters to ensure adherence to SFC requirements and internal policies.
  • Develop and implement compliance programs and procedures to mitigate risks and maintain a strong compliance culture within the organization.
  • Conduct compliance monitoring, surveillance, and testing to identify and address potential violations.
  • Collaborate with PMs and traders to provide compliance advisory services and support their trading activities.
  • Stay updated with relevant regulations and industry developments to ensure compliance policies and procedures are up to date.
  • Assist in the development and delivery of compliance training programs for employees.
  • Participate in compliance audits and investigations as needed.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in compliance, preferably within private equity/ hedge funds.
  • Bilingual in English and Cantonese; Mandarin is a plus
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with PMs and traders.
  • In-depth knowledge of relevant regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
