Investment Manager

Job Description

Responsibilities:- To perform in depth investment analysis, market research, deal structuring, evaluate proposed deal terms, risk assessments on investment opportunities

  • Liaise with legal counsel and other departments to complete with sound diligence processes and procedures
  • Maintain oversight of portfolio performance to achieve performance targets and enable regular reporting as required

  • Monitor and analyze capital market dynamics, economic trends, industry outlooks and develop actionable insights and recommendations, via understanding of the business model and the information available for analysis

    Requirements:- Degree or above in Finance, Business Administration, Economics or equivalent

  • Minimum of 5 years of solid experiences in finance / banking or non-banking field with sound knowledge of relevant regulatory requirements and industry trends
  • Able to work independently and willingness to continuously learn and adapt
  • Self-motivated, able to prioritize and navigate in a fast-paced team-oriented environment
  • Demonstrate excellent verbal (mandarin is an advantage) and written communication skills (both English and Chinese), organizational ability, analytical skills, strong interpersonal skills, and a flexible work attitude
  • Excellent skills in quantitative analysis and financial modeling
  • Able to take a flexible and creative approach to structuring private debt and equity investments
  • Possess professional qualifications of CPA is an advantage
  • Strong capital market knowledge with investment banking experience is an advantage
  • Experience in fixed income and equity trading is an advantage
  • Experience in fund formation is an advantage
  • Proficiency in computer applications such as Bloomberg, Excel, Word and PowerPoint
