The Company

We are currently working with a leading global bank in Hong Kong and is seeking a qualified and experienced Operation Analyst.

The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Operations Analyst to join our team, specializing in one or more of the following areas: Trade Management, Corporate Actions, Cash Management, Private Assets, Derivatives, or Collateral Management. The primary responsibility of this role is to analyze and optimize our operational processes to drive efficiency and productivity. The Operations Analyst will conduct data analysis, identify areas for improvement, and implement strategies to streamline operations. This role requires strong analytical skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities: - Perform operational activities related to Trade Management, Corporate Actions, Cash Management, Private Assets, Derivatives, or Collateral Management, based on your specialized area(s).

• Ensure accurate and timely trade capture, confirmation, settlement, and reconciliation processes.
• Process and oversee corporate actions, such as dividends, mergers, acquisitions, and stock splits, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Manage cash flows, including forecasting, monitoring, and reconciling cash positions.
• Maintain and monitor records of private assets, derivatives, or collateral activities, supporting valuation and reporting processes.
• Analyze operational workflows and identify opportunities for process improvements to enhance efficiency and mitigate risks.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including front office, compliance, finance, and technology teams, to streamline operations and ensure adherence to regulatory requirements.
• Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes related to your specialized area(s).
• Ensure compliance with internal policies, industry regulations, and risk management guidelines.

• Participate in system enhancements, testing, and implementation to optimize operational workflows.

  Your Profile - Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.

• Proven experience as an Operations Analyst in Trade Management, Corporate Actions, Cash Management, Private Assets, Derivatives, or Collateral Management, based on your area(s) of specialization.
• Strong understanding of operational processes, industry best practices, and relevant regulations within your specialized area(s).
• Proficiency in relevant systems, tools, and software applications related to your area(s) of expertise.
• Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to analyze complex data and identify process improvement opportunities.
• Attention to detail, accuracy, and the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

• Knowledge of risk management practices and regulatory requirements related to your specialized area(s).
