VP Hedge Fund / Institutional Sales (Derivatives sales)

Job Description
Due to expanding derivatives business on the back of strong growth, we are currently recruiting for a VP Interest Rates Derivatives salesperson in Hong Kong to join the Institutional Sales Department of an established Global Derivatives Dealer to perform interest rate derivatives sales to Hedge Funds and other Financial Institutions.
Role Responsibilities
- Seeking a highly motivated derivatives salesperson to develop and expand the business covering institutional and Hedge Fund clients in Asia
- Delivering OTC Derivative solutions (Interest Rates) tailored to clients' investment process
- Formulate and execute the marketing and sales plans based on the firm's growth strategies, organizing, and fulfilling the annual business plan's implementation
- Coordinate with trading to provide timely and accurate pricing and execution of various rate derivatives trades
- Work closely with internal partners in drafting and reviewing derivatives documentation including CDEA, ISDA and CSA
- Work closely with KYC teams in the client onboarding process and periodic review
- Represent the company as required by attending industry conferences and events
Role Requirements
- 6+ years of relevant sales experience in interest rates derivatives
- Great relationships and ability to expand network with Hedge Fund clients
- A solid understanding of FI clients' needs to establish financing solutions and cross-sell company's products
- Proven track record of originating and closing flow derivative transactions
- Possess analytical skills and moderate financial modelling ability
- Knowledge in regional regulatory structures and policies
- Fluent in English, fluent in Cantonese and Mandarin is a plus
