Assistant Operation Manager - Associate - Data Centre Operations - IT

Job Summary:
The Technology Operations team is responsible for the round-the-clock, 24x7 operations of HKEX data centres. The team is also responsible for change and service continuity management. They will monitors and ensure a smooth and robust operations for HKEX systems.

Job Duties:

As an Assistant Operation Manager, you will have the opportunity to manage our mission critical, highly secured data centers. This includes data center capacity management, asset management and the critical facilities management.

Responsibilities:- Manage the data centers facilities capacities and assign the location of the equipment for in/ out or relocation activities

• Manage and monitoring data centers hardware in/ out control and govern in the data integrity inventory
• Manage the data centers hardware inventory stock take and ensuring the data accuracy
• Monitor and administrative activities within data centers to ensure compliance with racking standards, procedures and best practices for reliable data center operations
• On going implementation of ISO27001 ISMS, SOC reports supporting data center operations
• Participate in operation procedure and manual preparation; conduct regular review of such documents to keep up with the changes and operational efficiency
• Conduct regular review of procedures and technological studies to automate or improve the processes to enhance operational stability and efficiency.
• Communicate and work with other stake holders to handle the day to day works, regular facilities maintenance services or other emergency services
• Supervise, monitor and manage all Electrical, Mechanical, Physical Securities activities and services within the data center to ensure compliance with service pledges, defined procedures and best practices
• Prepare the method statement, risk analysis for Electrical and Mechanical activities and physical securities
• Handle any emergency services and prepare the details incident report

Requirements: - Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or Building Services or related disciplines

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in supporting data center capacity management, asset management and critical facilities
• Experience in supporting 24x7 mission critical operations, asset management, change management and incident management
• Familiar with MS office and ACAD support our works when necessary
• Experience in managing emergency call and attend when necessary

• Good command in both written and spoken English and Chinese
