Associate/Senior Associate, Private Equity Fund Accountant (Buyside Asset Management)

Job Description

Key responsibilities

  • Execute private equity fund accounting, investment transaction record and support
  • Prepare/Review monthly quarterly financial work papers for portfolio companies/ SPVs
  • Prepare financial statements, investor reports and other fund-related reports
  • Manage workflow to ensure deadlines are met, this includes planning and coordination with tax advisers, auditors, legal counsels and banking personnel
  • Prepare and review calculations and investor allocations for capital calls and distributions
  • Monitoring cash flows and cash balances
  • Other ad-hoc tasks

Key qualifications

  • Bachelor degree in Accounting or related accounting qualification
  • At least 3 years of Private Equity Fund Accounting experience
  • Good accounting technical skills, fast learner, hands-on
  • Good communications and interpersonal skills
  • Motivated, detailed-oriented, positive attitude
