Global Banking and Markets - Global Markets

Hang Seng's Global Markets business provides superior service, fully integrated solutions and 24-hour global markets coverage. Our support framework is substantial. Our advanced technologies deliver quick access to key markets. Our capital strength allows us to tailor competitively-priced solutions for specific client business around the world. We provide a full spectrum of treasury services to our customers, including foreign exchange, interest rate risk management, derivatives products, capital markets instruments, as well as market intelligence on global trends and key developments.

We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our department as Senior Dealer II, Foreign Exchange.

Principal responsibilities- Manage G7 currencies, Precious Metals and short term interest rate trading positions to achieve assigned financial goals and ensure trading activities are within limit and in compliance with all applicable regulations;

• Handle Foreign Exchange and Precious Metals operations in accordance with the business plans and policies;
• Provide accurate and consistent pricing and market making to sales and clients for FX and Precious Metals;
• Ensure deal executions with both internal and external counterparties are accurate, follow the Bank's internal procedures and are compliant with regulations;
• Provide support for new business initiative and interaction with both middle office and internal support functions;
• Handle and reconcile daily and monthly reports for FX Department as assigned;
• Perform ad hoc tasks or projects as assigned;

• A significant portion of the position is expected to be mid-shift (1400 to 2300) and provide back up to relevant team members when required.

  Requirements- University degree in Banking, Finance, Economics or related discipline;

• Minimum of five or more years of relevant work experience;
• Stable, able to perform mid-shift and work responsibly in a dynamic environment;
• Creative with strong analytical skill and sensitive to figures;
• Proficiency in computer applications such as Bloomberg, Reuters and EBS;

• High level of customer centricity mindset with dedication to deliver exceptional quality services for customers
