Commercial Banking - Business Banking
Hang Seng's Commercial Banking business provides customized one-stop financial solutions to our corporate customers, from prime small and medium-sized businesses to publicly listed companies.

For customers conducting business locally or around the world, we offer a comprehensive range of services including corporate lending, trade and receivables finance, structured loan, cash management, investment, treasury services, insurance and e-Banking services. As a reliable financial partner, we attend to the specific business needs of our customers and provide efficient tailor-made banking solutions through our relationship managers and dedicated specialists.
We are currently seeking high caliber individuals to join our Commercial Banking as Assistant Relationship Manager - CDD and Derisking.

Principal responsibilities - Build and manage a portfolio of higher risk customers by exercising good financial crime risk judgment, ensure appropriate actions are taken promptly as mitigation to any identified financial crime risk in the portfolio

  • Achieve various individual sales/ business targets to contribute the team performance.
  • Develop and maintain cordial customer relationship and provide quality customer services, and carry out continuous monitoring on the customer's business activities and account activities to ensure they are commensurate with each other
  • Prepare credit proposals and monitoring account activities and performance
  • Conduct regular and effective CDD and credit reviews and visit customers' operational facilities to take proactive control measures to ensure due diligence and credit quality
  • Monitor the quality of loan book of his/her portfolio and ensure all relevant control measures are undertaken to minimize the risk exposure and to support total quality management

    Requirements- University degree in Banking, Business Management, Finance and Credit related discipline

  • Minimum 2 years' work experience and exposure in credit and relationship management, development of marketing plan and customer relationship management preferred
  • Passes in the Insurance Intermediaries Qualifying Examinations and fulfillment of the competency requirements to carry out regulated activities as defined under the Securities and Futures Ordinance
  • Acute risk sense and strong knowledge in customer due diligence requirements
  • Strong self-motivation, with the ability to work independently
  • Strong sales and customer orientation, with excellent communication, interpersonal and analytical skills
  • Proficiency in both English and Chinese, fluency in Putonghua an advantage
  • High level of customer centriciy mindset with dedication to deliver exceptional quality services for customers
