Assistant Vice President, KYC, Corporate Banking

Job Description
Job duties
- Perform name screenings, background checks, and due diligence on new clients.
- Conduct end to end account opening and KYC reviews / risk assessment for existing and new corporate clients.
- Liaise with the front office on documentation requirements or issues surfaced during customer reviews.
- Conduct quality checking on KYC assessments and oversee KYC procedures
- Monitor transaction activities and ensure AML risk is effectively managed in accordance with the regulatory requirements
- Identify and investigate potential risks within client profiles and transactions and escalate any hits or risks found when necessary.
- Keep abreast of HKMA regulations and update KYC manuals / policies for the bank
Job requirements
- Bachelor's degree holder from reputable university, preferably in business or finance discipline
- 6+ years of corporate banking experience in KYC / AML. Checker experience is highly preferred
- CAMS, AAAMLP or CAMLP qualifications are advantageous
- Strong understanding on HKMA and MAS KYC / AML regulations
