Execute single stock, electronic, and program trades as guided by Senior Traders
Work with other business teams and external counterparts (brokers, Exchanges, Investment teams, Operations, Compliance etc) to solve investment process issues
Work with technology to enhance trading systems and workflows
Monitor Best execution process using TCA and other proprietary tools
Support Asia equity traders on data collection, reporting and analysis
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of market microstructure and potential impact
Provide market information and stock specific updates to various Investment Teams
Ensure all activities are in line with Invesco’s Code of Conduct principles
Work Experience / Knowledge:
University graduate with a degree preferably in Economics, Engineering, Computer Science, or Math
1 to 3 years trading experience in the Equity markets
Good written and verbal communication skills
Resilient, proactive self-starter with an entrepreneurial mindset
Strong command of English; Cantonese and/or Mandarin are a plus but not a requirement
Comfortable working with complex systems and processes
A good thinker who can work under high pressure
Knowledge of Microsoft Office and some knowledge of programming preferred
Collaborative, proactive team player that can work with different internal and external stakeholders.
