Your role
Are you a self-starter and interested to play a vital role in supporting our Crew to drive the product roadmap and deliver excellent and state of the art outcomes? We are looking for Product Manager in the APAC Securities and Settlement Crew to work closely with our IB Operations stakeholders, engineers and tech designers to drive our product roadmap.
We are looking for someone who can:
• Work closely with our IB Operations team to understand their needs to deliver robust platforms to allow them to improve operational efficiency, manage processes within the risk appetite, ensure we deliver excellent client support to services our IB businesses.
• Work in an agile pod and prioritize the backlog aligning to the IB Operation strategic vision and priorities.
• Develop user stories, test and coordinate production implementations.
• Support periodic production checkouts.
• Collaborate with PO and PM across functions and divisions, building strong relationships across the firm.
• Drive changes that meet local regulatory requirements in APAC according to the specified policies.
Your team
You will be joining the APAC Securities and Confirmation Crew in Hong Kong and will be a team member of one of the Pod. This team is focused on delivering changes to systems and platforms that support IB Operations in APAC. The team will also drive digital changes to meet the business needs to improve process efficiencies, deliver better client supports and maintain a good risk profile. The team also manage needs of the business with balance between running mandatory technical changes and tacking strategic improvements using an agile development methodology.
Your expertise
• A Bachelor's degree or equivalent with an advanced degree (preferred)
• Ideally 3+ years of product and platform management experience showing progress/promotion with an understanding of workplace business, corporate clients needs
• Experience in agile, in writing and sounding user stories, strong analytical and product management and facilitation skills
• A good understanding of the IB products specifically in the Settlement and Confirmations areas
• Team player with an enthusiastic proactive personality, a true agile mindset and strong analytical and problem solving skills with sound judgement for when to escalate issues
• Good commitment to keeping up with industry, regulatory developments and learn new concepts around automation and digitalization
• Strong active listening and communication skills to build networks and partnerships at all levels.
