IT Business Analyst - ERP/D365

Job Description

  • Regular engagement with business users, internal IT delivery teams, and external vendors. These can be in country or in region.
  • The BA must be able to understand the business requirements and needs. During project initiation, the BA will be involved in developing a business case with supporting evidence including ROI calculations to enable effective decision making and prioritization. The BA should also be comfortable working with vendors, and complete as-is and to-be option gap analysis activities for solution review and decision making.
  • The BA will need to use a variety of business analyst techniques during a project to elicit and understand requirements, perform gap analysis, review, and document processes. The position requires strong analytical, communication and problem-solving skills. The BA should be able to support users in requirements prioritisation and change management.
  • The BA will need to be capable of understanding IT systems for ongoing improvements and upgrades, both in-house systems and also understanding solution products in the industry that will be rolled out.
  • The BA can perform project management activities to coordinate the delivery of IT solutions to deliver projects effectively. This includes:
    • Support regional IT with delivery of projects to meet timelines and scope requirements.
    • Raise risks and issues in timely manner and take action to mitigate where appropriate.
    • Integrate quality practices in all aspects of technology delivery; audit work products to ensure quality and sustainability
    • Maintain appropriate documentation, traceability, and configurations; follow record retention policies

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Finance/Business Management, or relevant disciplines.
  • 2 years or more experience as a Business Analyst
  • Knowledge in business process and IT application landscape
  • Knowledge and experience to build and manage IT- business relationship, facilitation, communication, and analytical skills with demonstrated ability to work with large cross-functional teams
  • Experience on enterprise application platforms (ERP, Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance, Finance/Accounting/Invoice System, Azure Data Lake) is a plus
  • Cross-cultural sensitivity and fully understand and adopt company's values and leadership model within daily operation, Experience in sizeable multinational corporations is a plus
  • Able to explain technical problems in simple layman terms and to work in a matrix environment with multiple business and IT groups
