Team Head, Global Market Operation, Corporate Bank

Our Client, a reputable Corporate Bank, is seeking an accredited and reliable to join their team, replacement role. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the effective execution and settlement of trades, managing risk exposure, and maintaining strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external counterparties.

Responsibility

• Provide operational support for all Treasury & Markets products including FX, Fixed Income, IR Futures and Structured Deposits
• Assist in the overall management of the function in Hong Kong Branch
• Risk Management
• Represent the team and contribute in projects & conduct UATs
• Increase productivity through continuous workflow improvement and upskilling of the team members
• Manager system projects and initiatives and on the launch of new business and products
• Compile reports to regulators including submission to the Hong Kong Trade Repository Requirement

Required Knowledge

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field. Advanced degree or professional certifications (e.g., CFA, FRM) are preferred but not required.
• Proven experience (10+ years) in Treasury and FX Money Market operations within investment banks or brokerage firm.
• Strong knowledge of financial instruments, including money market products, FX spot, forwards, and derivatives.
• Familiarity with trade execution platforms, settlement systems, and related technologies.
• Proficiency in using treasury management systems, market data platforms, and reconciliation tools.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
• Knowledge of HK Trade Repository Reporting
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Self-motivated and results-oriented, with a proactive approach to identifying and implementing process improvements.
• Sound understanding of regulatory frameworks governing Treasury and FX Money Market operations.
