Job Summary:
We are looking for a dynamic and passionate individual to join as the Head of Innovation to focus on external innovative intelligence and drive the culture of innovation across HKEX. The Head of Innovation is an experienced individual within HKEX responsible for planning and overseeing all aspects of IT innovation and strategic initiatives, which plays a critical role in driving organization growth, competitiveness and sustainability through the development and implementation of innovation projects.

Job Duties:

Responsibilities:- Lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive Culture of Innovation across HKEX, develop supporting processes, and recognition framework to support innovative activities

• Foster a culture of creativity and idea generation within HKEX and encourage the organization to think outside the box and come up with innovative solutions to business challenges
• Stay abreast of emerging trends, technologies and market dynamics. Conduct detailed research about applicable leading edge technology, with insights on how it works and best practices
• Manage innovation projects from ideation to implementation, ensuring that they are delivered within the HKEX governance framework
• Identify and assess potential risk and challenges associated with innovation initiatives and proactively develop mitigation strategies

• Define key performance indicators to measure the effectiveness and impact of innovation initiatives across HKEX

  Requirements:- University degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related discipline or equivalent experience

• 10+ years of relevant working experience
• Strong and proven project management experience to plan, executive and monitor innovation projects
• Good knowledge and practice experience with end-to-end Agile product development lifecycle and methodologies, including business analysis, architecture, software development and operations
• Agile and product management certifications would be an advantage
• Excellent written and spoken communication skills with proven ability to communicate with impact, drive consensus, influence relationships and articulate complex information in a meaningful way to wide and varied audiences including senior management.

• Have an excellent command of both written and spoken English and Cantonese. Ability to communicate in Putonghua would be an advantage, but not compulsory
