Founding Engineer - Exciting Start Up

Job Description

Our client is a fast-growing art start up. They are seeking a Founding Engineer with solid backend & devops skills to join and lead the development team.

You will be part of the founding team of an exciting HK based art start up, building a product from scratch.

Responsibilities

  • Develop a web3 platform using TypeScript and JavaScript
  • Work on the transaction system to sell art; the marketplace and content systems
  • Lead all development efforts, and collaborate closely with product and design teams
  • Drive and build out the development team

Requirements - 3-8 years experience as backend developer with solid backend / Devops capabilities

  • Experience in leading the development life cycle
  • Experience of blockchain is preferred
  • Experience working in startsups is preferred
  • Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript
  • Experience withNext.js, Supabase, Postgres and familiarity with the Shopify API is preferred
  • Proactive & innovative mindset
