Main Responsibilities:
Generate, research and implement investment ideas for technology sector
Initiate long/short ideas through extensive fundamental research
Work closely with portfolio managers to develop proprietary view on industry trends and generate stock ideas through company visits and industry conferences
Present long/short ideas and sector positioning strategies
Manage trade life cycle from trade matching, to corporate action
Review investment performance and operational results
Requirements:
Deep understanding of the global technology industry
5 to 10 years of relevant experience in a long/short analytical role on the buyside covering global technology including Software, Hardware, AI, SAAS
Demonstrated track record of successful stock recommendations
Fundamental, research oriented, bottom-up approach, supported by a strong investment philosophy and process
Capability to implement ideas through an analytical framework
Technology industry experience highly preferred
