The Company

Our client is a financial technology platform in Hong Kong in the global finance industry specializing in providing financial services and cross border payments to businesses.

The Role

Principal responsibilities- Perform SOX and IT Operations audits to assess the effectiveness and efficiency of IT controls.

  • Develop audit plans, conduct risk assessments, and execute audit procedures in accordance with professional standards.
  • Evaluate IT systems, processes, and controls to identify areas of improvement and recommend corrective actions.
  • Review documentation, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry best practices.
  • Prepare detailed audit reports, including findings, recommendations, and action plans.
  • Communicate audit results and recommendations to stakeholders, including management and IT teams.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement audit recommendations and monitor their progress.
  • Stay updated on emerging IT audit trends, regulations, and technologies to enhance audit methodologies.

    Your Profile: - Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Accounting, or a related field.

  • Professional certification such as CISA (Certified Information Systems Auditor) or equivalent is preferred.
  • Minimum 4-5 years of experience in IT auditing, with a focus on SOX and IT Operations audits.
  • Strong knowledge of IT control frameworks (e.g., COBIT, ITIL) and regulatory requirements (e.g., Sarbanes-Oxley Act).
  • Experience with auditing IT infrastructure, applications, databases, and system development life cycle (SDLC) processes.
  • Familiarity with risk assessment methodologies and the ability to identify and evaluate IT risks.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and provide practical recommendations.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively communicate audit findings and recommendations.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple audit projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in using audit software and tools to facilitate the audit process.
