The Role
Principal responsibilities- Perform SOX and IT Operations audits to assess the effectiveness and efficiency of IT controls.
- Develop audit plans, conduct risk assessments, and execute audit procedures in accordance with professional standards.
- Evaluate IT systems, processes, and controls to identify areas of improvement and recommend corrective actions.
- Review documentation, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry best practices.
- Prepare detailed audit reports, including findings, recommendations, and action plans.
- Communicate audit results and recommendations to stakeholders, including management and IT teams.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement audit recommendations and monitor their progress.

Stay updated on emerging IT audit trends, regulations, and technologies to enhance audit methodologies.
Your Profile: - Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Accounting, or a related field.
- Professional certification such as CISA (Certified Information Systems Auditor) or equivalent is preferred.
- Minimum 4-5 years of experience in IT auditing, with a focus on SOX and IT Operations audits.
- Strong knowledge of IT control frameworks (e.g., COBIT, ITIL) and regulatory requirements (e.g., Sarbanes-Oxley Act).
- Experience with auditing IT infrastructure, applications, databases, and system development life cycle (SDLC) processes.
- Familiarity with risk assessment methodologies and the ability to identify and evaluate IT risks.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and provide practical recommendations.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively communicate audit findings and recommendations.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple audit projects simultaneously.
