Job Description

A leading investment bank is looking for a junior Trade Floor Application Support professional to join their dynamic team.

Be a part of a hardworking and innovative group which provides support for the electronic trading platforms, used by Equity Derivatives and Fixed Income traders.

Responsibilities

  • Support traders, troubleshoot, resolve bugs and resolve/track production issues
  • Handle business-driven or exchange-driven projects
  • Work on applications related to Equity Derivatives on APAC markets using a Linux platform
  • Perform system Quality Assurance testing and deploy/upgrade trading applications
  • Monitor and address system performance and operation issues

  • Follow ITIL Application Support methodology for incident escalation and system change management

    Requirements- Relevant work experience between 2 to 4 years

  • Extensive knowledge of markets, cash and derivatives products
  • Proficiency in python in Linux/Unix environment
  • Driven and able to perform in a stressful environment
  • Strong team player and great analytical/decision making skills
  • University degree with a major in IT or mathematics
  • Excellent English communications skills, able to communicate clearly and effectively
  • Hong Kong work permit
