We're currently looking for a high caliber professional to join our team as Officer , Senior Translations Specialist - Hybrid (Internal Job Title: Ops Sup Intermediate Analyst- C11) based in Hong Kong.   In this role, you're expected to: - Provide high-quality translation of time-sensitive and confidential materials from English to Chinese for Mainland China / Hong Kong / Taiwan markets and vice versa. Translations of various types of documents, e.g. Pitch books, presentations, correspondences, regular market updates and other materials that may be related to the business

• Utilizes tools to facilitate reuse of previously translated content stored in translation memory/database. Actively contribute to enhancing translation memory/database
• Provide excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment. Interact with clients and gather details on job requests as required from time to time
• Support Front Desk activities as and when required to support Supervisor and coordinate with internal clients or external suppliers for job distribution, proof reading etc.
• Primary point of contact for clients, responsible for assigning incoming work to the appropriate resources. Interacts with clients and gathers detailed information on job requests (e.g. deadlines, instructions, billing details)

• Handle translation projects to ensure deadlines are met, prioritize workload and makes adjustment to meet business needs as required, where necessary negotiates deadlines

  As a successful candidate, you'd ideally have the following skills and exposure: - At least 4+ years of relevant experience

• Highly proficient in both English and Chinese languages (oral and written communications inclusive)
• High level knowledge of related to industry standards and practices
• Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
• Translations speed of 2,800 words per day

• Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience
