VP/ AVP, Specialist, Credit Approval, SME Banking

Risk Management Group (RMG) is responsible for the development and maintenance of risk management and internal control frameworks. We provide independent review and challenge to business to ensure that appropriate balance is considered in risk/return decisions. In addition, RMG is responsible for the monitoring and reporting on key risk issues of the Bank. To manage risk effectively and deliver strong financial performance, we invest significantly in our people and infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• To review. assess and recommend credit applications for customers under an assigned portfolio with high quality comments and advice to business units on risk assessment, monitoring, deal structuring and account strategy
• To assess, identify, review and monitor the Bank's credit risk at individual and portfolio level against irregularities identified / deteriorating business conditions to minimize potential NPL and SP
• To identify any deterioration of portfolio quality assigned under periodic review and to ensure timely response according to the bank policies.

• To ensure compliance of regulatory requirements and internal bank policies

  Requirements- Degree holder in Banking, Business Management, Economics, Finance or related disciplines

• Minimum 8 years of experience in credit risk, commercial banking or corporate banking experience in lending or related activities
• Strong credit analytical and risk assessment skills
• Familiar with Financial Statements and with sound knowledge in bank operation, bank products, credit framework and regulatory requirements
• Excellent communication, interpersonal skills and stakeholder management
• A good team player, result-oriented, with strong sense of ownership
• Prudent and proactive attitudes
