Business Analyst/ Project Manager (Treasury)

The Company

We are currently working with a leading global bank in Hong Kong and is seeking a qualified and experienced Treasury Business Analyst/Project Manager to join our team.

The Role - We are seeking a skilled and experienced Business Analyst/ Project Manager to oversee and manage projects within our organization. The Project Manager will be responsible for planning, executing, and finalizing projects according to strict deadlines and within budget. The successful candidate will have excellent leadership and communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

Your Profile

Responsibilities: - Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including technology, operations, and business stakeholders, to gather requirements and define project objectives.

• Conduct comprehensive analysis of existing cash and FX processes to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement.
• Develop and implement strategic initiatives to streamline cash Straight-Through Processing (STP), including process redesign, automation, and system enhancements.
• Work closely with stakeholders to define project scope, deliverables, timelines, and resource requirements.
• Create detailed project plans, including task breakdowns, dependencies, and milestones.
• Manage project execution, monitor progress, and ensure adherence to timelines and budget.
• Conduct regular status meetings and provide updates to project stakeholders.
• Identify and mitigate risks and issues that may impact project delivery.
• Coordinate testing and quality assurance activities to ensure successful implementation of new processes and systems.
• Develop training materials and conduct training sessions for end-users on new processes and systems.
• Provide post-implementation support and facilitate knowledge transfer to the operational teams.
• Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and regulatory changes related to cash and FX operations.

Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, or a related field. Relevant certifications (e.g., CTP, PMP) would be a plus.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in treasury operations, cash management, and/or foreign exchange, preferably within a financial institution.
• Strong understanding of cash management products and services, including payments, injection, deposits, and FX transactions.
• Demonstrated experience in driving process improvement initiatives, preferably involving cash STP and automation.
• Proven track record of successfully managing projects within scope, timeline, and budget constraints.
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to identify and resolve complex problems.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry best practices related to cash and FX operations.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as in a team-oriented environment.

• Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
