The Role
We are seeking a high calibre Technical (IT) PMO to join our team of financial transformation veterans for a large scale transformation programme.
- Assist the Technical Lead to continue enhancing Governance and PMO methodology to ensure standard processes and procedures are followed.
- Provide consultancy and assistance in resolving major issues for critical
- Adapt to company's Agile Culture Transformation Program and Business Development requirements, and to transform project management process & procedure and methodology.
- Ensure the projects are strictly following project management guideline from
initiation to completion.
- Coordinate with Team Heads to ensure proper project data update and
- Manage enquiries from Project Manager and provide training to ensure all
projects are proper executed in accordance with the guidelines.
- Establish and perform regular review and update on project and governance
related policies, procedures, standards and guidelines according to the review schedule.
- Review critical projects during project lifecycle to ensure quality of project and
compliance to the bank's project management methodology and processes.
- Provide support on PMO automation through Project Portfolio Management Tools.
- Manage the PMO team to ensure proper management of PMO activities.

Manage overall document cleanup and repository.
Your Profile: - Degree holder in Information Technology, Project Management or Business.;
- Cantonese and English, Mandarin an asset.
- Minimum 5 years' experience in Project & Portfolio Management / Application Development (lesser years of experience would also be considered).
- At least 1-3 years' experience in PMO methodology and governance.
- Banking experience, with knowledge in PPM tool and PMP certificate is a definite advantage.
- Proactive, positive and "Can do" thinker with agile mindset.
- Strong analytical thinking, communication and problem-solving skills.
- Sound action planning, tracking and governance skills and tools experience.
- Excellent project management skills.
- Able to assign complex tasks and give detailed instructions to teammates, help teammates coordinate work.
- Express complex ideas succinctly and persuasively.
- Recognize potential sources of conflicts, work with various parties to calmly analyze the issues, and work through together to compromise/resolution.
- Strong sense of teamwork but can work both in team and independently.
- Hands-on knowledge in MS Office and MS Project.
