RESIDENT SITE STAFF
We are looking for the following resident site staff for a private development project in Tsing Yi:
ASSISTANT RESIDENT ENGINEER / RESIDENT ENGINEER (FOUNDATION AND GEOTECHNICAL WORKS)
- Degree Holder in Structural or Civil Engineering with minimum of three (3) years in Piling
- Minimum requirements to be Qualified for TCP - T3 level under RSE Stream in accordance with the Code of Practice for Site Supervision 2009 for Foundation and Pile Cap & Tie Beam Works
- Minimum requirements to be Qualified for TCP - T3 level under RGE Stream in accordance with the Code of Practice for Site Supervision 2009 for Geotechnical Works
- Extensive experience in the supervision of large diameter bored piling
- Strong capability to carry out on-site coordination with Main Contractor and Specialist Contractors
- Strong capability to monitor continually the contractor’s construction operations, compliance with the specifications and contract requirements
- Strong capability in checking monitoring works for ground & building settlement, tilting and vibration
- Good report writing skills
- Strong ability to monitor & report contractor’s compliance with the works programme
- Strong capability in preparing minutes of meeting and conducting site meetings pertaining to structural aspects of the works
- Ability to chair site meetings
- Proficiency in written and spoken Chinese & English and to be able to communicate effectively with the Client’s representative and relevant personnel
- Candidates with higher qualifications will be considered as Resident Engineer
The tentative employment period for the above position will be about 15 to 20 months with gratuity payable on satisfactory completion of the contract and the tentative commencement date of employment will be in March 2026.
