Mainframe Systems Analyst (A major bank)

Our client is major bank in HK and they are looking for a Mainframe specialist to maintain its systems & applications.

Responsibilities:

Design and develop application programs to address business needs and to provide technical support in the development and maintenance of application software and product.
Participate in System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) from System Analysis and Design, implementation, UAT to Rollout of Application
Prepare System Documentation in the project life cycle
Ensure development work follows the Bank's standards and guidelines
Monitor and control the software development progress according to schedule, cost and quality requirements, and participate in program development when necessary
Provide technical support to ensure smooth 24 hours round the clock operation (including Disaster Recovery Site support) within the Bank

Requirements:

University graduate in Computer Science (or equivalent)
Preferable over 6 years' relevant experience in system development with at least 4 years in system analysis
Experience in using MVS, COBOL, CICS, VSAM, DB2, MQ is essential
Strong analytical and problem solving ability
Self-motivated with good interpersonal and communication skills
Good command of both written and spoken English, Putonghua a plus
Candidates with more experience will be considered as Senior Systems Analyst
