Job Description:
As a System Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and maintaining our cloud infrastructure based on AWS. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the reliability, scalability, and security of our systems, while optimizing performance and efficiency. Your contributions will be instrumental in driving the success of our cloud-based solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Design, deploy, and manage scalable and highly available systems on the AWS cloud platform.
- Collaborate with software engineers, network engineers, and other stakeholders to define infrastructure requirements and ensure seamless integration.
- Implement and maintain automated infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and deployment processes.
- Monitor system performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement solutions to optimize performance and enhance reliability.
- Troubleshoot and resolve system issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement preventive measures.
- Lead cloud migration initiatives, evaluating and transforming legacy systems for seamless integration into cloud platforms. Drive performance optimization and cost-efficiency.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest AWS services, tools, and technologies, and evaluate their potential impact on our infrastructure.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a System Engineer with a strong focus on AWS cloud technologies.
- In-depth knowledge of AWS services, including EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, RDS, Lambda, CloudFormation, and CloudWatch.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Good knowledge of major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Alibaba) is a plus, Windows Server, Linux (Redhat), virtualization, networking, and hardware.
- Implemented solutions utilizing VMware, Hyper-V, Docker, and other virtualization tools.
- Solid understanding of networking concepts, security principles, and best practices for cloud environments.
- Relevant certifications like MCSA, MCSE, RHCE, AWS/Azure certs a plus.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities, with a strong focus on teamwork.
