Senior Project Manager - AVP - Infrastructure Solution Architecture - IT

Job Summary:
The Technology Infrastructure Shared Services team are the forefront of technology innovation, the team leverage latest design concepts, practices, and tools to deliver game-changing platform solutions for HKEX.

Job Duties:

An experienced Project Manager is required to manage various infrastructure projects within the IT Division. The successful candidate will primarily lead a numbers of network infrastructure related projects of various sizes. The incumbent will also work as part of a programme management team to ensure standardizations of project management framework as well as good coordination between different IT projects which are completing with one another for resources. The role involves close liaison with network engineers, application teams, internal business users, as well as vendors and manufacturers.

Responsibilities:- Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, deliverables, milestones, and resources allocation

• Lead the project team executing the project plan, monitor progress, identify risks and issues, and implement mitigations
• Produce budget for the workstream and manage financials
• Build and maintain a good relationships with stakeholders with good communications, quality control and collaborations.
• Conduct regular workstream status meetings, report progress, issues, dependencies and risks to project or programme leadership and committees as appropriate
• Identify, report and access project issues, provide resolution recommendations, executive corrective actions and track effectiveness of improvement

• Develop, enhance and communicate project management framework, including establishing templates and adoption of project management supporting tools.

  Requirements:- University degree, preferably in IT and/or Finance related subject

• Minimum 8 years' experience in project management / digital transformation in financial / technology institutions
• Knowledge of infrastructure technology, preferably network knowledge with experience in managing large scale network infrastructure project
• Experience of working within a structured project management framework, adopting prevalent project management standards and principles
• The successful candidate is likely to have a formal qualification (e.g. PMP, Prince II)
• Knowledge of project management tools and techniques (e.g. MS Project, Jira, Confluence)
• Strong analytical, presentation and communication skills in English, both written and verbal
• Effective in unifying and creating teams of people with disparate skills
