Hang Seng's Liabilities and Secured Lending business offers a wide spectrum of secured lending products to meet customer's needs. With the dynamic business environment and emerging opportunities in the market, there is increasing demand on diverse secured lending solutions and enhanced customer journey.
Our team conducts market research to identify business opportunities, formulate and implement business strategies to grow the secured lending business.
We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our department as Head of Secured Lending.
The Role:
The Head of Secured Lending reports to the Head of Liabilities and Secured Lending and leads a team of professionals managing secured lending business. The role develops and executes the secured lending strategy designed to optimize revenue growth and capital usage (returns), expand market share, deepen client relationship, and broaden credit product and service delivery. The Head of Secured Lending manages the staff, budget, business planning and execution activities of all secured lending products.
Responsibilities:- Manage the secured ending product portfolio. This entails working closely with internal business partners and second line of defense, to define/manage client-centric secured lending products tailored to each customer segment needs.

• Deepen/strengthen key secured lending customer relationships and actively engage in new client acquisition activities and prospecting
• Ensure secured lending limits and capital allocations are appropriately dimensioned to support business growth objectives
• Major products include: secured overdraft, premium financing, wealth lending
• Drive secured lending's operational and technology requirements designed to simplify and streamline the delivery of secured lending products to support business goals, growth, and optimization of secured lending products to customers
• Responsible for secured lending's budget, resource allocation, revenue and expense management and performance metrics for the business. Business performance reporting on portfolio performance, metrics, risk & controls and progress against established business goals and initiatives
  Partner with risk stewards to drive consistency in risk management of secured lending exposure
• Ensure appropriate governance and controls are in place to support secured lending activities
• Identify appropriate risk appetite, diving the development and optimization of first-line business-led risk management processes and procedures

• Monitor regulatory changes and requirements related to secured lending products and activities

  Requirements
  Requirements- University degree in a finance related discipline or other relevant qualifications

• 8 plus years of progressively increasing experience related to bank lending products and delivery
• Demonstrated people management experience including talent attraction, development, and people management skills
• Proven analytical and problem analysis and solutioning experience
• Highly developed interpersonal, verbal, and presentation capabilities

• Proficiency in both English and Chinese
