Head of Finance – Sizable Law Firm (80K+)

Our client is a sizable law firm in Hong Kong with a multicultural and dynamic office. Reporting to the COO, and the MP, you will be leading a team of 5 and managing the all-rounded financial matters for the Hong Kong office.

Responsibilities:

Supervising the Senior Accountants and Accounts to manage the daily operations and the month end closing process
Working on the Statutory and Management reporting
Managing the working capital work to control the billing / revenue
Working with the external vendors to monitor the monthly payroll
Managing the clients’ money and ensuring the placement of fixed deposit
Handling the financial analysis and budget forecasting
Providing professional advisory / solutions to the Partners
Dealing with external auditors and bankers
Reviewing the work procedures and policies
Managing the performance of the team and recruiting new members
Leading the ad hoc financial projects such as financial system upgrade

Requirements:

Degree holder major in Accounting / Qualified CPA with at least 8 years of related working experience
Good command of both Chinese and English required
Outstanding communication and people management skills required
Candidates with legal / professional services industry background will be considered first
