Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of contracts, including policy contracts, reinsurance agreements, distribution agreements, and service provider contracts.
Ensure contractual terms and conditions are in line with legal requirements, industry practices, and company policies.
Provide legal support and training to internal stakeholders, including management, underwriters, claims handlers, and sales teams.
Review marketing materials, advertisements, and promotional campaigns to ensure compliant wordings and adherence to applicable legislation/ regulation.
Liaise with external stakeholders, such as regulators, industry associations, legal advisors, and government bodies.
Represent the company in industry forums and participate in relevant industry working groups.
Assist in other ad-hoc projects as assigned by supervisor from time to time.
Stay updated on relevant case laws, legislation, and regulatory guidelines.
Requirements:
Graduated with Bachelor of Law (LLB)/Juris Doctor (JD) degree or qualified lawyer (Hong Kong or other common law jurisdiction)
5 years+ post qualification experience
Fluency in English and Cantonese and ability to speak Mandarin would be an advantage
Proven experience in the legal and regulatory areas preferably in Insurance/Financial Sector
Independent and able to work under pressure
Strong legal sense and business sense
Good project management skills

Good drafting, analytical and communication skills
