System Analyst / Senior System Analyst (Treasury Systems)

Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain application systems for Treasury
Perform business and data analysis
Collaborate with the team and vendor on technical design and technical solutions review
Create technical and functional specifications and documentation
Hands on development and follow through code review, QA/SIT/UAT, go-live cycles
Provide support to production environment
Demonstrate good judgment under the pressure of dealing with time critical situations

Requirements

Bachelor’s or above in Computer Science, Engineering or other relevant disciplines
5+ years of experience preferably in banking or financial service industry
System development and support experience in PL/SQL, shell script
Strong analytical, problem solving and communication skills
Strong logical thinking, attention to details, well organized and solution oriented
Experience in supporting Treasury System (e.g. Murex, Summit) is an advantage but not a must
Experience in Linux platform is an added advantage
Experience in BI tools such as DataStage, Cognos, Oracle Database administration exposure is an added advantage
Infrastructure knowledge is an advantage, e.g. hardware and network area.
Good team player, able to coach team members, proactive and innovative
Good command of written and spoken English
