Team Head, Corporate Banking Dept (HK Blue Chips/Conglomerates)

Overview

This reputable corporate bank has a wide spectrum of banking services and products to its customers with the goal of becoming the bank of choice for large corporate customers in Asia. They are now seeking to hire a Team Head, Corporate Banking, Large Corporates to drive the growth of the portfolio HK Blue Chips/Conglomerates.

Role Responsibilities

• Act as a Team Head and senior banker, provide relationship coverage for a portfolio of HK Large Local Corporates / HK blue chips / Conglomerates
• Drive sustainable business growth within banking scope in various aspects including risk, profitability and funded asset etc.
• Deepen the relationship of top-tier corporate clients for driving the achievement of business goals, including the annual profit plan, account development and product teams engagement to influence top management/decision makers at prospective clients
• Tactfully work across all stakeholders for internal approval in order to execute transactions,
• Be accountable to the account opening process including any necessary documentation for new and existing accounts;
• Complete various reports for department head and senior management including customer call reports, pipeline forecasting and monthly cross-selling income and deal tracking
• Communicate and handle any direct customer enquiries and execute instructions for loan, deposit, FX or transaction banking;
• Leadership and managerial duties where required

Requirements

• 12+ years Corporate Banking relationship management experience specializing in HK Blue Chips/Large Local Corporates
• Track record in the growth of a portfolio
• Product knowledge in bi-lateral and syndicated loans, trade, cash management, and cross-selling global markets;
• Strong Academics from a reputable University
• Strong team player
• Excellent communication and presentation skills in English, Cantonese and Mandarin
