Currently recruiting for a VP, Sustainable Finance / ESG Banker to help develop the ESG / green financing portfolio to align with corporate banking growth strategy.
Role Responsibilities
- Reporting to the Department Head, you will help to develop the Sustainable Finance business through growth of Renewable Energy / E-mobility portfolio
- Perform ESG related sector research (business-oriented) to support business planning and development of Corporate Banking relationships in Greater China aligning with the bank's policies, guidelines and risk appetite
- Structure appropriate credit facilities, maintain quality lending, prepare credit proposals and drive cross-selling of the Bank's products and services
- Deepen customer relationship with clients by providing professional financial solutions
Requirements:
- Minimum 5-7 years working experience in Corporate Banking, Structured Finance, Corporate Credit department of renewable energy related corporates.
- Previous coverage of power/renewable energy/E-mobility/Electromobility sectors preferred
- Excellent communication, client management and relationship management skills
- Well-versed in relevant policies and procedures of the Bank as well as regulatory requirements in HK and mainland China
- Advanced Microsoft-Office knowledge and skills
- Fluency in English, Mandarin and Cantonese
